JUNE 12, 2014--The Erie Summer Festival of the Arts is hoping to keep its mark on the community. The festival has been a staple in
for four decades and on Thursday the community came together to discuss ways to keep the weekend alive. Community members brought their ideas, suggestions and concerns to the meeting in hopes to make a plan to move the festival forward. The organizers are trying to make a decision on where to go with the event to showcase Erie 's art culture. The festival will be on hiatus for the 2014 season to prepare for the next year and raise funds.
