Summer Jobs Program

More than 100 area youth will start to work next week
More than 100 area youth will start to work next week under the county's first ever summer jobs and more program. Thanks to Erie County, The Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority and Pennsylvania Career Link more than 100 youth across Erie County will have the opportunity to work this summer.

Today was the graduation for those enrolled in the program and who completed orientation. 180 hours of work will be required from those who are participating. They'll work for organizations like the Port Authority, The Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership, The Erie School District and the Erie County Library.

This is the first year for the program but organizers say they want to continue it year after year.
