Titusville Fire Sends Four Crews Into Action

The house is considered a total loss
January 28, 2014- Fire fighters in Titusville were battling a blaze late last night in sub-zero temperatures.

Emergency crews were called to that house fire at 630 South Franklin Street in Titusville around 8:15pm.
When crews arrived on scene, flames could be seen coming from the first floor of the home.
Titusville, Hydetown, Pleasantville and Cherry Tree fire departments all responded to fight that blaze.

The house is considered a total loss and is uninsured, although the tenants do carry a renters policy.
The cause of that fire is undetermined at this time.

There were no injuries reported.
Venango County Emergency Management had offered to bring warming huts for the fireman would battled the blaze in the extreme temperatures.
