MARCH 11, 2014- It’s crunch time for potential candidates hoping to run for office during the May primary election.
Today marks the final day to turn in nomination petitions.
Candidates must have the minimum of ten signatures to qualify.
Election officials say there has been a steady flow of petitions being dropped off today.
The deadline to turn in petitions is 4:30 this afternoon.
Independent and third party candidates have until August 1st to file their paper work.
