Two Facing Theft Charges In Court

Investigators say David and his wife Anne stole $170,000 from St. Peter Cathedral School
April 1, 2014- The couple accused of stealing an estimated $170,000 from St. Peter Cathedral School are set to appear in court today.

After a hearing was postponed in January, David and his wife Anne are back in court to face serious charges.
Investigators say David Earls is the former business manager of the school, and his wife worked at the school as well.
According to the criminal complaint, the couple stole funds from the school from 2001 through December 2012 and totaled an estimated $170,000.

David Earls faces third- degree felony counts of theft by unlawful taking, access device fraud and receiving stolen property.
He also faces a misdemeanor count of tampering with records or identification.
Anne Earls faces a third-degree felony count of receiving stolen property.
