Warm Weather Helps Erieites Break The Cabin Fever

After more than one hundred and thirty-eight inches of snow this winter, everyone agreed it was time for some sunshine.

After a cold winter, Presque Isle was packed with people enjoying today's warm temperatures.
There is no question that today was a beautiful day.
And people were outside in full force enjoying it. Many people saying this was their first chance to get outside and break the cabin fever.
Many people say this warm weather is something they have been waiting for.
After more than one hundred and thirty-eight inches of snow this winter, everyone agreed it was time for some sunshine.
Presque Isle was busy with people walking, biking and just enjoying the warm weather.
With today's temperatures in the 70's in Erie it was one of the first chances for people to get outside.
Some people even taking to the bay to start enjoying the Erie water.
It was a busy day at Gerlach's too as people started picking out their plants for the season.
Adam Gerlach says they just started getting their plants in for the spring as the weather got nicer.
He says the last frost in Erie usually falls near the end of May and people should be careful when starting to plant.
It's not summer just yet, but today's weather had a spring in everyone's step and many people say they are looking forward to warm temps to come.
