An Erie woman accused of killing a motorcyclist with her suv pleads guilty in court.

Aleatha Wyatt entered a plea deal pleading guilty to homicide by vehicle while DUI and DUI in the killing of Margaret "Peggy" Sargent.

Millcreek Police say Wyatt hit and killed 53 year old Sargent back in May of 2013.

Police who responded to the incident say Wyatt smelled like alcohol and appeared intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Wyatt faces three to ten years behind bars.

Family and friends of Sargent say that's not enough time for taking a life.

Wyatt's sentencing is scheduled for May 8th.
