LECOM Students Take Back Old Drugs

LECOM collects old medicine from community.

LECOM students are taking part in another round of drug take-back day. This is the seventh national drug prescription take back day. LECOM students and faculty were across the area collecting old medicine from the general public for free. The event collects old drugs to help prevent pill theft, poisoning and protect the environment. This event is an easy way for people to get rid of unwanted or expired drugs. The DEA then comes and collects the unwanted medicine and incinerates it.
