August 3, 2014 - A butterfly can symbolize many things, for some it symbolizes the cycle of life, rebirth, and regeneration, even a sign of hope.

About 500 butterflies were released in Perry Square this afternoon for the 10th annual Wings of Hope memorial.

This annual ceremony is hosted by the Visiting Nurse Association of Erie County.

The ceremony helps bring closure to families who have lost loved ones.
