Right here in Erie, dozens of people praying for peace on the 34th annual Pilgrimage for Peace in downtown Erie.
The Benedictines for Peace led the way today starting the pilgrimage at Saint Peter’s Cathedral.
The journey retraced the steps of the cross praying for what they say are social injustices in the world.
Among the stops on the march was Saint Peter's Cathedral where they prayed about capital punishment; at Community Health Net where they prayed for health care for all; and at the Adult Book Store where they prayed for exploitation of women and children; and at the Emmaus Soup Kitchen where they prayed for the hungry.
