July 1, 2014 - The man who slashed the throats of an elderly couple during a brutal home invasion learns how long he will spend behind bars. Adam Brown was sentenced to serve 60 to 120 years in prison.

Brown was convicted back in May for the attack on Frank and Pat Karmazin. His DNA was discovered on several items recovered from the Karmazin's home.

Today, Judge Shad Connelly called Brown a clear and present danger to the community.

In addition to Brown's sentence, he must also undergo a series of mental health evaluations and pay restitution.
