The Affordable Care Act will soon add thousands of dollars to the already 4 million dollar deficit of the Erie School District.

The district will have to pay 250-thousand dollars in fees right off the bat and then offer insurance to employees who work more than 30 hours a week.

Erie School Superintendent Dr. Jay Badams says that will cost the district around $800,000.00.
