President Barack Obama is in his final term as the President of the United States.

Although it may be too early to say exactly how he will be remembered in on this Presidents Day local political analysts weigh in on the 44th President.

Some say President Barack Obama has faced a challenging presidency taking office during a tough economic time and when the United States was at war.

But local political analysts say only time will tell on how he will go down in history.

Doctor Jeff Bloodworth from Gannon University says Obama will be remembered for his healthcare initiative which has been an issue for Democrats for decades.

Meanwhile Doctor Michael Federici, political analyst and professor at Mercyhurst University says President Obama will be remembered for ending the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and how he handled the economy.

And of course one of the first things President Barack Obama will be remembered for is making history as being the first African American elected as president
