Animal Shelter and City Partnership to Continue

Erie City Council decides to continue a partnership in the effort to get stray dogs and cats off the streets.

Council tonight approving a new contract with the Anna Shelter.
According to the agenda from tonight's meeting, the deal to take in strays for the Erie Police Department is for 25 thousand dollars per year.

It's a much needed arrangement for the city and the animals.
The Anna Shelter is the current shelter for strays in the city of Erie.
