She said she wanted to do more for the camp, but can’t volunteer there until the age of 18. So she did her part, by raising money for the camp, to help the kids. For her Lake Ontario swim Carr raised more than 200 ,000 dollars For her Lake Erie swim she has already raised more than 110,000 dollars for Camp Trillium.

"Going and seeing all the families there and the kids just smiling and laughing and having such a good time. And they could all forget about what was going on outside of camp almost like a safe haven for them, made me want to do something more to help." Annaleise Carr said.
