July 1, 2014 - Pennsylvania State Police are continuing to investigate an armed robbery in the quiet borough of Waterford.

According to police, a single suspect robbed the Waterford Pharmacy at gunpoint around 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Police say the suspect entered the store, walked to the back counter, and forced an employee to fill a bag with numerous narcotics before fleeing the scene. David Edinger, 23, was found a short time later by responding police officers with two other men. One of those men was Dustin Patterson, 21; the other man was not identified. According to police, Edinger matched the description of the suspect who robbed the pharmacy.

The three men were taken into custody, and questioned about the incident. Edinger and Patterson were charged with the robbery, and were placed in the Erie County Prison pending their arraignment. It's unknown at this time if the third suspect will be charged.
