Attempted Robbery Foiled by Would Be Victim

An attempted robbery ends when the intended victim shows a gun to the suspect.
It was just after eight o'clock tonight when officers were called to a barber shop at 1315 East Lake Road.
According to Erie Police, a man walked in with his hand in his pocket demanding money.

That's when they say the woman working there told the suspect to wait a minute, reached into a purse and pulled out her own legally permitted gun.
The suspect fled on foot down East Lake Road.
He's described as a white man wearing a blue hoodie and red hat.
