Bikers Against Depression Supports NAMI of Erie County
Bikers Against Depression (BAD), a local group formed through personal connections to mental illness, held the 1st Annual Bikers Against Depression Poker Run and Benefit on Saturday July 12th, with part of the proceeds benefiting NAMI of Erie County. Over 70 bikers participated in the poker run, which featured stops at several Erie County locations. After the poker run concluded, a benefit party was held at the Harborcreek Fire Department, which featured live entertainment, food and refreshments, and raffles. Pictured at right is Jennifer Young, LPC of First Step Counseling supporting the event. NAMI would like to thank BAD for their hard work reducing the stigmas associated with mental illness and raising funds for NAMI! Be sure to mark your calendars for Saturday, July 11th 2015, when the 2nd Annual Poker Run and Benefit will be held.
