August 26, 2013 - The rain fell hard and steady, and the winds gusted, but that didn't stop dozens of bikers from coming together in Millcreek at West 17th St to Peninsula Dr to remember the lives of two young men who died just last week in motorcycle accidents.

"We're all in fellowship with each other and support each other in times like this," said Vince Rizzone of the Mission Riders.

He and his wife Karen organized the memorial ride for 30 year old Dave Salvatore of Mckean who died in an accident last Thursday on West 17th and Peninsula, and for 22 year old Elliot Tirpak of Erie who died in an accident last Wednesday on West 21st St, just blocks away from his home.

The biking community says enough is enough when it comes to these deadly accidents.

So far there have been 10 motorcycle accident deaths in Erie County with a substantial amount of time left in biking season compared to nine in total for 2012.
