March 17, 2014 - The Barber National Institute is teaching young students how to be accepting of other kids with disabilities.

The institute's Kids on the Block program stopped by Grandview Elementary this afternoon for an interactive puppet show.

The show is designed to teach kids how to be understanding and accepting of others who have disabilities.

Show performers say it's very important to raise awareness about disabilities in an easy way for kids to understand.

The KOTB will be visiting Grandview again this week, and then they'll be sharing their message to kids at Rolling Ridge on Thursday.
