Body Found in Wintergreen Gorge Identified

August 15, 2014- The remains of a man found in Wintergreen Gorge have been identified by the Erie County Coroner's office.

According to Deputy Erie County Coroner Dennis Suscheck, the skeletal remains of a man were found by a hiker in the wintergreen gorge area on Tuesday.
Suscheck says the cause of death was a suicide, and that the man was a 46 year old Erie County resident.
Due to the nature of the man's death, the coroner's office is not releasing the man's name, but the family has been notified.
