A stolen cell phone is proving to be the lynch pin in a set of circumstances that seems to have solved a crime for Erie detectives.

A delivery driver for Lucchetti's Pizza was robbed on March 19. The gunman got away with the man's cash and his cell phone.

Two weeks later, a pizza from another purveyor comes to the victim's residence. He did not order it, but the order came from a cell number connected to his address.

Police went to the address specified by the man who ordered the pizza, found the pizza, the stolen cell phone and 25 year old Christopher Williams in possession of them both at an address on Raspberry street.

Williams is now in jail, unable to post $20,000 bond for charges in the March 19th robbery.
