Recent Census data shows the City of Erie is becoming more diverse.

As the city's overall population declines, we see a spike in some ethnic groups.

The city of Erie?s population dropped by 7200 people over the past decade, but a steady increase in immigration may counter the effects.

Erie's population spiked in Blacks, Hispanics, and Asians, yet still remains overwhelmingly white.

This rise in Hispanics and Blacks mirrors national trends.

Those groups are the fastest rising populations in the past 10 years.
