Students and faculty at Central Tech High School held a rally today in their auditorium preparing for tonight?s school board meeting.
With all the talk on cutting or combining sports programs at Central Tech, students felt they have the right to voice their opinion.
Tonight the Erie School Board will vote on if sports programs will be cut at Central Tech or if they decide to combine the programs with each of the schools.
Students held this sit-in protest so they can be informed on where to go for tonight?s voting session.
Central Tech Principal Mathew Pundt told us, "I'm very proud of the kids and how they have conducted themselves through this process. They have been hearing sports being out for a couple of months and they have gone out spoke on it and presented why sports should be kept here."
Tonight?s meeting at East High School will vote on the sports programs cuts at 6:00.
