APRIL 29, 2014- Charges have been dropped against the wife of a man accused of embezzling money from a local catholic school.
The Erie County District Attorney's office has dropped charges against Anne Earls.
Charges still remain for her husband David.
Anne is a former employee at St. Peter Cathedral School, and David was the business manager there.
Investigators say David embezzled nearly 170 thousand dollars from the grade school.
David has waived all of his charges and is expected to enter a plea May 30th.
The DA’s office says charges were dropped against Anne Earls because David is taking full responsibility.
