Cleanup of debris at a site in the city of Erie started today nearly three months after fire completely destroyed the unit.

Fire destroyed a multi-unit apartment at 26th and German Streets back in February killing four year old Fato Abdi and leaving several others without a home.

The house was later demolished by the city of Erie because of the significant damage.

The debris has been untouched since it was demolished but today crews cleaned it up.

The demolition cost the city one thousand dollars.

Erie's chief fire inspector Guy Santone ruled the cause of the fire undetermined.
