Coroner Rules Interstate 90 Death Suicide

February 25, 2014 - The Erie County Coroner ruled  collision on Interstate 90 early this morning a suicide.

Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook says the 17-year-old man was hit by a truck near the I90 and 6N interchange in Springfield Township just after 11pm last night.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police in Girard, the teenager was found dead in the eastbound lanes of I90.

The victim was hit by passing vehicles causing massive trauma.

Cooks says that two truck drivers who hit the West Springfield teen called police.
