This coming after a closed door meeting this afternoon with public and private parties involved.
County executive Kathy Dahlkemper organized this meeting to bring both sides from public and private enterprise together to have a dialogue regarding the future of the bayfront.
Representatives from Scott Enterprises, County Council and the Convention Center Authority were all in attendance.
The entire debate over the future of the bayfront stems from private enterprise wanting to build on the bayfront.and a public entity not having to pay taxes for their proposed hotel project.
Scott Enterprises plans to develop the multi million dollar Harbor place.
The Convention Center Authority is hoping to build another hotel.and is sking county council to guarantee loans for a second hotel connected to the Bayfront Convention Center.
Convention Center Authority officials are trying to protect a $25 million dollars state grant for the project.
County council is scheduled to vote Tuesday evening on the loan guarantee for the Convention Center Authority's second hotel.
