Crawford County Flooding Update

MEADVILLE – The steady rains and flooding over the past two days resulted in the
following road closures:
 Foote Road between Johnson Road and Ralston Road in Oil Creek Township
 Pastorius Road between State Highway 27 and the county line in Oil Creek
 Philadelphia Road between Palmer Road and Spring Road in Beaver Township
 Hanks Road between Footskulak Road and Guys Mills Road in Randolph Township
 Quick Road between Montgomery Drive and Shadeland Drive in North Shenango
 Tryonville Road between Leboeuf Trail Road and Strawbridge Road in Steuben

Numerous homes in the City of Titusville suffered basement flooding due to Church Run,
Hammond Run, and Trout Run going over their banks. A retaining wall on the east side of
Church Run just north of East Central Avenue collapsed. A driveway on the east side of
the stream was severely compromised. Three homes on Trout Run Road were flooded
and inaccessible due to flooding. Several homes on Barber Street, East Bloss Street,
North Drake Street, and Superior Street were flooded.

The Crawford County Emergency Management Agency is collecting damage assessment
information from the county’s municipalities. Jurisdictions that sustained damages to
roads, bridges, culverts, or other public structures should submit their reports by Monday,
June 30th
at 4 p.m.
