June 19, 2014 - The search continues for an armed robber who held up a non-traditional credit union in the city.

The Erie Federal Credit Union was robbed at gunpoint on Friday June 13th by a man wearing an orange hat, an orange striped shirt, and sunglasses.

He's believed to be in his late twenties, light skinned, possibly Hispanic or bi-racial.

The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Erie Police Chief Randy Bowers said they have new surveillance video from the surrounding area they are looking at, possibly involving the robber’s getaway car.

It's a non-traditional credit union that doesn’t have tellers who deal with customers face to face.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Erie Police at 870-1120.
