Dan Rice Days Celebrates Last Day With Parade

August 2, 2014 - People lined the streets of Girard for the annual Dan Rice Days parade.

Marching bands, fire trucks, floats, and more made their way down Main Street as part of today's festivities.

It is all part of the 49th Annual Dan Rice Days, a celebration in honor of the famous circus clown, Dan Rice.

He used to keep his circus animals in Girard during the winter season.

Dan Rice Days is a town favorite that has people returning year after year.

The celebration comes to a close tonight with the entertainment and music ending at 10:30 p.m.
