June 4, 2014 - Area police and law enforcement officials are coming together to review new crime fighting techniques. It was all part of a search and seizure seminar held this morning by the district attorney's office.

Police can now pull you over and search your car without having a warrant under certain circumstances. This is based on a court ruling that came down in late April.

Those who attended the seminar say it will make fighting crime on the streets a quicker and safer process. Despite the ruling, a police officer still needs probable cause to believe there is evidence or contraband in your car.
