The Erie Book Depository is making it easy for folks to get used books for affordable prices to build their home libraries.
They have more than 20,000 books available. The company aims to promote literacy, so once a month they have a book sale on the sixth floor of the Masonic Building.
Sunday, books were as little as fifty cents or an entire box of books for five dollars.
There will be another big sale next month and the company is trying to become a not-for-profit organization so they can give the books away to people in need. The owner is also trying to clear out some of the book supply before opening a consignment shop in the Masonic Building on April 1st.
