Erie County Bar Association Now Has Its Own Women's Division

- June 3rd, 2014

The federal courthouse set the stage for a new women's group in Erie.
The women's division of the Erie County Bar Association held their inaugural meeting this evening.
Erie County was one of a few areas in the state without a women's division.

The 40 to 50 members agreed the time was right to get the ball rolling.
The mission for the new division is two fold; to mentor young women to be called to the bar and for women, who are already practicing lawyers, to find their place in Erie's legal community.

The group also hopes to have at least three programs with speakers throughout the year.
