May 14, 2014 - The Erie Downtown Partnership is celebrating ten years.

They’ve spent the last decade working to revitalize downtown by improving its image, business climate and design.

They have an exciting season coming up and announced a new restaurant that will open soon called Cloud 9.

A new website, a downtown master plan and a new facade program are the main focus of the Downtown Partnership moving into the summer season.

The facade program totals $50,000 and will give various businesses a facelift.

Businesses will be able to apply for the grant starting tomorrow.

Meanwhile, new businesses are also coming to downtown like one at 10th and French Streets.

Restaurateur Bertrand Artigues is opening Cloud 9, a new spot that will feature an international wine list.

He says it's a dream come true and was made possible because of the positive impact of the Downtown Partnership.

He has a June opening date set for the wine bar.
