Officials say the $47 million renovation to the Erie Insurance Arena has paid off.
Regular season home games are nearing the end as the Explosion have five left, one for the Otters and three for the Bayhawks.
Casey Wells, executive director of the Erie County Convention Center Authority says they're looking at ways to improve the fan and player experience for next year.
For season ticket holder Levi Marsh, he says it's been great watching the Bayhawks and Otters in the first class arena.
He’s already committed to another year of Erie sports.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out the arena, the Bayhawks are at home Thursday and Friday night.
The Otters have their final home game of the regular season on Saturday with less than 400 tickets remaining.
