Erie Man Gets up to 60 Years In Doctor Attack

MARCH 26, 2014- A homeless Erie man will spend several years behind bars in the attack of an area doctor.
Eddie Johnson was sentenced to serve up to 60 years in state prison in the attack on Doctor Justine Schober.
Johnson was found guilty of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, robbery and burglary earlier this year.
Investigators say Johnson assaulted and bludgeoned Doctor Schober in her Modern Tool Square office in May.
During sentencing today, Johnson claimed he was innocent.
The minimum range of his sentence is 30 years.
