It was a show of respect and support for a group of bikers this evening.

The Erie Mission Riders held a memorial ride for William Stablien Sr. who died as a result of a motorcycle accident last Thursday.
The accident happened around 9:30 p.m. on East 38th Street as Roar On The Shore was just getting underway for the weekend.
The riders tonight rode from the Tops on East 38th street to Dusckas Funeral Home on Buffalo Road as a show of support for the family and friends of Stablien.

They stress the fact that safety awareness needs to be raised.
There was a short memorial in the parking lot before tonight's ride.
