According to Erie Police, a man was sitting in his home, when he heard knocks at the front door.
The man answered the front door to find two gunmen.
Police say the victim got into a scuffle with the two men on his front porch.
That's when, police say, the two men fired shots at the victim, shooting him twice in the back.
Police say the suspects then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim was taken to UPMC Hamot for treatment.
There is no word on his condition at this time.
