May 22, 2014 - Erie Police make an arrest in connection to a shooting that happened overnight.

Marquise Barnett faces charges including possession of a firearm with an altered manufactuerer's number and persons not to carry firearms.

The charges stem from a shots fired call that came in around 10:45 p.m near Fairmont Parkway and Cameron Road. The house that was targeted was 1861 Woodlawn Ave. Witnesses told police they saw a brown or dark red van flee the area. Police found it and say Barnett was inside, threw a firearm out the window of the vehicle and then jumped out of the van as it hit a house.

Barnett was taken into custody after a foot chase.
