Erie Prepares for Saint Patrick's Day

After Saturday's parade brought in thousands of people to downtown Erie, local restaurants are keeping the fun going to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day. Many locations in downtown Erie are kicking the day off Monday morning with breakfast specials and entertainment that will continue throughout the day. If you’re heading downtown, be sure to check out some of the places celebrating the Irish tradition. Molly Brannigans will be serving up some traditional Irish food including shepherds pie, fish and chips, reubens and Guinness stew. They will also have entertainment from the group Celtic Creek. The U Pick 6 Tap House is also celebrating the holiday with many Irish beers on tap. Scully’s Pub is celebrating with a green eggs and ham breakfast to start the day off. If you’re heading downtown on Monday, Molly Brannigans, Scully’s Pub, The Tap House and Sherlock's will all open Monday beginning bright and early at 7 AM for Saint Patrick’s Day activities.
