Just last week, the auditor general released an interim-audit stating that the school was in "disarray" and that the school's finances were in a mess.
With the school's charter renewal right around the corner, the Erie school board will meet tomorrow to discuss what actions should be taken regarding the future of the school.
Some members believe closing the school should not be the first option.
The charter renewal vote is in less than 30 days and there will be a chance for Erie Rise officials to speak at a public hearing before then.
