Erie Teen Pleads In Attempted Homicide

Shidee Beason was initially charged with criminal attempt at homicide, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and firearms not to be carried without a permit.
Today in court, Beason pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. The remaining charges were thrown out.
Police say Beason shot a 17 year old in the 600 block of East 19th street.
Beason faces ten years behind bars and 25 thousand dollars in fines. 
His sentencing is scheduled for April 15th at 9 a.m.
