The board voted four-to-one for a use variance of the property on West 12th and Greengarden, which is in a manufacturing district.
GetGo has owned the property for ten years, and now with the variance, the company will be able to build a new gas station with a convenience store and car wash.
The zoning board chair tells us they're pleased to see development at that location, especially since it has been vacant for so long.
GetGo plans on beginning construction in six to eight months.
