Fairview Bank Robbery

July 16, 2014 - The FBI and Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in Fairview. Around 10:30 this morning police were called to the Northwest Savings Bank on West Ridge Road.

The suspect walked into the bank, handed the teller a note. The note allegedly stated the man was armed with a gun. He took off with an undetermined amount of cash and was last seen heading towards Avonia Road on foot. 

He’s described as a man between the ages of 25 to 45 years old. He was wearing a blue and white stripped shirt, mid-calf length jeans and light colored shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call State Police in Girard at 774-9611.
