September 2, 2014 - We have unofficially said goodbye to summer and before we know it, cold and flu season will be upon us. Lifeworks Erie Flu Shot Clinics started last week. Three hundred volunteers will give an estimated 11,000 flu shots this year through Lifeworks and their mobile clinics.

The CDC recommends anyone over the age of six months should have a flu shot. Experts say if you won't do it for yourself, get a flu shot for loved ones with compromised immune systems.

Lifeworks Erie has an expo coming up September 10 with more than 60 vendors and a flu shot clinic. To find out times and the location visit www.lifeworkserie.org.
