July 8, 2014 - A partnership between GE Transportation and Penn State Behrend has middle school girls excited about STEM. The week-long experience is sparking science, technology, engineering and math interest in nearly 25 seventh and eighth graders.

Behrend faculty, GE engineers and Erie School District teachers taught the hands-on course today. Themes throughout the week include logistics, robotics, electronics, chemistry and more.

This GE program is an ongoing effort across the country to get girls interested in STEM.
