Following a petition for Meadville City Council to pass an ordinance banning discrimination, another group starts a petition asking council to not move forward with the ordinance.

At Valesky's Supermarket in Crawford County, Pastor David McAfee is standing by a banner reading, “Help Us Fight the Homosexual Petition before City Council.” McAfee says they're not opposed to anti-discrimination but that they're opposed to some of the things it includes such as sexual orientation and gender identity.

Meadville City Council is expected to talk about the ordinance again at a meeting on June 18 at 6 p.m. in the Meadville City Building on Diamond Park.
