January 21, 2014 - Tomorrow marks the 41st anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, which made abortions legal in all 50 states.

On that anniversary, groups from all over are heading to Washington, DC for the annual March for Life, including groups from Erie.

Early this afternoon, students from Cathedral Prep and Villa Maria Academy headed out to DC, with Prep president Fr. Scott Jabo saying he hopes students learn a lot of from this trip.

"I'm hoping that they make those life connections and that they will do what they can to make sure that all life in this country is respected and dignified," said Jabo.

Director of People for Life, Tim Broderick, says more than 150 people are gearing up to head to DC, and that even though 41 years have passed, this issue still needs to be protested.

"This is an issue that can't go away. We can't stop speaking out for justice, for the humanity of the unborn," said Broderick.
