January 12, 2014 - On the 12th anniversary of the first prisoners held at Guantanamo, peace makers will be holding a vigil in Erie and other cities across the country Monday.

The vigil highlights the 155 men still held there; 76 were cleared for release years ago.

President Obama's second promise to close Guantanamo, made in May, 2013, was followed up with the release of only 8 with 155 left in indefinite detention.

Those protesting Monday outside Erie's federal building are calling on the Obama administration to finally put an end to indefinite detentions at Guantanamo.,
